We are family first, breeders second. Our program might be small, but we built it on a foundation of love and respect for not only this breed, but also my dogs who inspired me to do better by them. Aside from our stellar foundation bitch, what sets us apart is the amount of health testing we uphold ourselves to in order to not only secure the longevity and quality of your puppy’s life, but to protect and preserve this beautiful breed.
The OFA CHIC standards for our breed call for hips, elbows, basic cardio, MDR1, DM, ACVO eyes, thyroiditis, and optionally dentition. We go above and beyond by additionally testing for Lumbosacral Transitional Vertebra, Spondylosis, Cerebellar Hypoplasia, Copper Toxicosis, Collie Eye Anomaly, Advanced Cardiac Evaluation, and Pituitary Dwarfism.
A lot of big words, I know. What does this mean? I have a ton of resources on my About the Breed page with links that will bring you to help you further in your research.
